Everything was all new, fresh, and clean.
We went and took pictures around the hotel grounds.
We wandered downstairs to the casino but it did not hold much appeal and we spent virtually no time in there. I did find my favorite machine, Kitty Glitter and played for a bit, getting a bonus.
We eventually made our way down to the 5:00 Somewhere Bar.
That night we had dinner in their one nice restaurant. I got fish.
We spent the next day at the pool. The hotel had free cabanas so I went down early and snagged one.
That night we had dinner at Joe's Crab Shack by the river. It wasn't exactly our best culinary experience ever.
Overall, we decided driving to Bossier City wasn't worth it to us. We'd rather pay a little more and go to Vegas which provides a much nicer vacation experience. But we had fun on our pool day at Margaritaville.
