Hawaii Anniversary Cruise: The End

Well it was here, the dreaded last day of our incredible vacation.  Womp, womp.  But at least we would have a few hours to enjoy before the flight home.

We woke up in Honolulu.

Ben and I spent the morning frantically packing. Normally I start earlier but I had been having way too much fun!  We had our last breakfast at Cagney's and met everyone at 9:00 am to be escorted off the ship.  It was hard to say goodbye--but I think we might be back!

We took a cab back to the Royal Hawaiian to spend the day.  I really wrestled with how to fill the 6 hours from disembarking the ship to leaving for the airport.  Fran and Harvey graciously agreed we could spend it at the resort and in hindsight, this was the best idea ever!

Harvey relaxed in the room, Fran found a breezy chair to read a book and Ben and I had lunch at the pool and walked on the beach.  Jason and Alice did some sightseeing since their flight was later, and then they were able to enjoy the resort after we left.  It was the perfect way to spend the last day.

Then it was back home, and back to life and reality.  Mahalo Fran and Harvey for our wonderful anniversary gift and I hope you enjoyed everything as much as we did!

Thank you for giving us an anniversary to remember!

Ohana means "family" in Hawaiian.  I am so blessed to be a part of this one.
