Day two started bright and early since we were all up before 4:00 a.m. thanks to the five-hour time difference. We made good use of our time though, going grocery shopping right when the supermarket opened at 5:00 a.m.!
Our first full day on Maui always starts with breakfast at the Sea House on Napili Bay. It's a nice restaurant right on the water and always makes us feel that our vacation has officially begun!
Nothing says vacation like a Pog-mosa!
I always get the traditional breakfast.
We spent some time on Napili Bay beach after breakfast.
After breakfast, we took a drive to the Nakalele blowhole. Nick, Ben and I have hiked down to the blowhole before, but this time we just stopped at the overlook. The blowhole wasn't really blowing today but it was still pretty.
Then we took a short drive to the Ohai Trail to see the view from there.
Then it was back to the condo for drinks on the lanai and poke for lunch. Poke is raw marinated tuna served over rice and the best place to have it is Maui!
Later that afternoon, we decided to all go down and enjoy the beach in front of our condo.
Then we hit the pool for awhile and then went back up to the condo for sunset.
Tomorrow we would do some sightseeing in Lahaina.
