The Gratts and Nick on Maui: Day 5

Today I had another breakfast of a bagel, POG, and apple banana on the lanai.

We spent the morning at the condo and tried to decide what to do with our day. It was pretty windy during our stay and the snorkeling conditions were never very good on the Northwest side.  I had also developed a bad allergic rash on my chest which was bothering me and didn't feel like being in the direct sun or water too much.
We decided to try the Gazebo again for brunch going much later this time. Even at 11:15 we still had about a 15 minute wait.  We all decided we like the Sea House much better. But at least we can say we tried it.

Ben got their breakfast fried rice which was gigantic so I just shared it with him. I liked it a lot but Ben liked the fried rice at the Sea House better. He had so much leftover that we had to take it back to the condo.

We decided to continue our resort crawl by visiting the Montage and Ritz Carlton in Kapalua. I am really hoping we can spend a few nights at the Montage for our 10-year anniversary in 2019 and wanted to check it out.

We walked around and saw the grounds and went down to the bar by the pool. Everyone at the Montage was so nice and the whole place just made you feel relaxed and like you were really on vacation.

At the pool bar, Ben and I had a $26 drink in a pineapple called the Nanea. It was delicious!

Next we went over to the Ritz Carlton where we spent our honeymoon.

We walked down to the Beach House restaurant and had a drink. I had a hibiscus mimosa and Ben had a huge milkshake called Shake Rattle and Roll complete with a slab of bacon! (Because what milkshake doesn't need bacon, right?)

I took some pictures of DT Fleming beach. Going there brought back great memories and it was fun to see it again.

We  then went to the Plantation House for a bite to eat.  I got a POG mimosa and Nick got a mai tai.

Back at the condo we watched sunset and had a dinner of grilled hot dogs, grilled pineapple and Maui onion chips and watched a movie.

I had Nick take our picture--I always have to have a sunset picture on Maui!
